Werner T7406 Fiberglass Ladder
The Werner T7406 Multi-Use Twin Fiberglass Ladder is an extra heavy duty twin step ladder that can support its workload rating on both sides. In short, this means two individuals can climb on opposite sides of this fiberglass ladder at the same time. In addition, the railings are made from non-conductive fiberglass to protect against electrocution. To safeguard the fiberglass ladder from accidental closure, both side of the ladder are guarded by pinch-proof spreaders. The steps are equipped with extra wide slip resistant “Traction Tred” steps to protect you from slippage.
For added stability, each of the steps of the fiberglass ladder is reinforced with knee bracing. This is on top of the large heavy gauge aluminum thick side plates’ extruded top. To reinforce each rivet, there is an accompanying washer or metal parts to ensure maximum strength for the rivet works.
Although twin sides fiberglass ladders are more costly than single sided ladders, their added stability more than made up for this additional cost. They do not creak nor wobble and because of this one can use them for uneven surfaces without any anxiety. What is most attractive about this twin side fiberglass ladder is that you can move to the other side of the ladder without having to dismount first.
This is one of the reasons why when it comes to selecting a fiberglass ladder; always try to look for a branded ladder as compared to generic non branded ladders. This is due to the fact that you will no idea if these fiberglass ladders will fail under demanding usage. And if they do fail while you are using these ladders, it can cause serious injuries or even fatality.
